Quickly Identify Tier II (Chronically Absent) Students

Whether you’ve been using a Multi-Tiered System of Supports to address attendance for a while or are just getting started with targeted attendance work, EveryDay Pro can help you quickly identify Tier II, or chronically absent students, who need additional support and interventions to help them get back on track.

For an attendance tier breakdown at the district level (only available to district-level staff):

  • Once you’ve logged in, you’ll see key top level metrics on attendance data district wide.

  • Scroll down to the pie chart, where you’ll see a percentage breakdown of students across the district, by attendance tier.

  • This chart shows at-a-glance the severity of chronic absence across your district.

To identify specific Tier II students within a school:

  • District Level Staff Only: Select the school on the dropdown in the top left that says your district’s name

  • Once at your School Overview page, scroll down to the pie chart, where you’ll see a breakdown of students by attendance tier, specific to the school.

  • Click on the “Moderate Chronic” segment of the pie chart, and you’ll be brought to the list of students who fall within this tier.

  • Click on the student name to learn more about each student

You may want to create an intervention group to support these Tier II students. To read more about creating an intervention group, check out this article.
